The DST60 series are precise tension meters (with Digital LCD display) for the measurement of both surface (Liquid - vapor) & interfacial tensions (Liquid - Liquid) using Du Nouy ring (Pt-Ir) method & Wilhelmy Plate method. The information from surface/ Interfacial tension is critically important in applications such as detergency and emulsification and also important for many biological processes. The DST 60 systems are specially designed for Educational, Quality Control, and other multiple user applications.

The DST60 Manual type can be simply operated the sample stage manually, and has two kinds of controllers for precisely operating the sample stage so that the accuracy and reliability of results can be higher.

The DST60 Automatic system is upgraded version of the manual type and can measure the surface/ interfacial tensions automatically and precisely. The sample stage is automatically operated so that the errors from manual operation can be significantly reduced. The surface and interfacial tension results can be calculated quickly and automatically, and the measured data can be shown easily on the LCD display and printed out.
